Palm reading is a painstaking task. You can easily be deceived by the poor and good looking lines, you will never know how much potential is hidden within that line! Lines, mounts, birth date all are intertwined and affect each other and so what our life is is just a resultant effect of all these factors. Marriage for instance doesn't solely depend on marriage line, I think you all who know a little bit of palmistry, already know about it.

You will need to have a look on the fate line, whether there is a companion line meeting the fate line, that age of the fate line indicates that at that age an outside person will help you to shape your career. Look at the picture.

Sun as a governing star in love and marriage

The persons born within 24th July to 21st August (Leo sign) are governed by Sun and their character is characterized by this star. Now, this mount should be in good and favorable condition on hand.

A good sun mount 

A spacious sun mount or there is a sun line on it promises widespread name and fame, huge influence, and handsome income. He can be a very renowned person. He can be a very famous politician, doctor, lawyer, leader or activist. If he has a good marriage line, then he will surely get his spouse just of his liking. The persons born between 22th December to 19th February ( Capricorn and Aquarius )are governed by Saturn. Their saturn mount should be in favorable condition on their hand.

The person feels a great interest in occult science, astrology, mantra, hypnotism etc. He loves to live alone and loves a quiet environment of the village rather than noisy city.

A cross on its mount will make the person very depressive resulting in a failed married life.
An island sign on this mount acts for a sudden financial loss, turbulent family life.
A star on this mount is very dangerous. They suffer from serious mental depression and waste many life-turning opportunities. Possibility of sudden trouble and death at later age, especially after 50 years.

Jupiter as a governing star in love and marriage

If your birthdate lies between 24th November to 21st December(Sagittarius) and from 20th March to 20th April (Pisces), then Jupiter is your governing star. Jupiter is responsible for religious mind, higher education and idealistic.  

Good Jupiter mount

A good venus mount makes the person influential over many people for a good looking appearance and modest manner. It also gives a happy married life. love and romance will be successful for him.

Mercury as a governing star: Love and marriage

If you are born within 22nd May to 21st June (Gemini) or 22nd August to 23rd September (Sagittarius), your governing star is Mercury. Mercury shapes your nature. You appear naive and simple, but it is your outer shell. Your inner shell consists of some shrewd and intricate thoughts. You have a good sense of humor. So lots of people become attracted to you. 

You can easily win the heart of people and that's why love and friendship are very easy to establish for them. You have many boy and girlfriends. But you suffer from double minded attitude. Therefore, you can easily like someone, and also hate that person at the same time.

Secondary Mars as a governing star: Love and Marriage

If your birthday lies between 21th March to 21th April (Aries)and 24th October to 23rth November (Scorpio), then you are governed by Secondary Mars, or simply Mars. If its mount appears higher, clean without any cross, dot, island sign etc. then the governing star is considered as favorable. It bestows courage, spirit, talent, righteousness, etc. to your character.

Unfavorable Secondary Mars

If this mount appears flat or it consists of dot, cross, net or island sign, then it is a very bad sign for love and marriage and married life will be full of troubles. Moon as a governing star: love and marriage

When your birthday lies within 22nd June to 23rd July, then you are under Cancer zodiac sign and your governing star is moon. 

Moon can be either favorable or unfavorable to you; it depends on the good or bad condition of moon mount on your palm. If the mount is clean and prominent or spacious, without any cross, dot or net or island sign, then it is considered as a good governing star. 

When Moon is Favorable

Good moon makes the life of the person pleasant and happy. He becomes pretty and witty as well as cool brained. He becomes whimsical at times. He has talent in composing music and literature.

When Moon mount is Unfavorable

2. Travel line on moon mount: If the travel line starts from the wrist and goes upward on the moon mount as shown in the picture, then travel is very likely. There will be anxieties. But it indicates travel in abroad together with husband or wife, or getting a foreigner as a husband or wife in the travel.

3. Head line bent downward: If head line is bent towards moon mount, it makes the persons very whimsical. They suffer from mental depression which results in unfavorable love and marriage.

 Matching and non-matching persons for the Moon people

The moon governed persons should have love and marriage with those persons governed by Sun, Secondary Mars or Jupiter. They are mismatch with the persons governed by Mercury, Venus or Saturn. Love and marriage will be unfavorable with them.

Determine your governing star

Palmistry is not an easy thing as far as I have seen it for so many years. There are mysteries in its every twist, secrets that are hidden like treasures of pirates burried in an unknown location which only an expert and adventurous treasure hunter can find out. A little bit literature, ha ha ha.
Ok, here we go. This post is about mounts. You know there are nine mounts on our palm that represent nine stars acting upon us, treacherously shaping our character and behavior. But not all these mounts are equally favorable or unfavorable to a person. If favorable mounts are greater in number, then logically the person will face less trouble because most of the stars are acting in favor of him. But if it happens vice versa, that is, the unfavorable mounts are greater in number, then the person should face more troubles, life should be very difficult for him.
However, as I have seen, it matters little to a person. The stars and their mounts just give us an idea, which profession should we take or which field should be favorable to us. It is the governing star that matters most. The governing star builds up your character and primarily responsible for your ups and downs. But it doesn't necessarily determine whether the persons will face more or less obstacles in his/her early life.

But when from palm lines, you see that the person is likely to face some troubles, then now it's the no. of favorable stars that matters most. If they are greater in no., they will rescind the unfavorable effects. In fact, if the no. of good stars are greater in number, they will never let you down in serious troubles.

So I suggest the following steps to know about your character and overall nature.
1. Determine your governing star by your original birth date. Follow this link to see the chart of governing stars.
2. Now see the mount of that star. If that is favorable, then surely you have a good chance of a happy life. howver if that is unfavorable and crisscrossed, or dotted then that is an alarming sign. It is time then to mend yourself.

A brief palm analysis

Recently I am residing in a hostel and it's my good luck (!) that I have got enough students here to carry on my research on palmistry. Here are the palm pictures of Priyangkur, one of the students residing in the hostel. First I took his palm pictures in a digital camera and analyzed the palm lines. Then I wrote down the result briefly on a piece of paper. I found the following results worthy to mention:

1. He is short tempered. 100% correct

Explanation: His head lines connected to the mount of Primary Mars at the origin will make him very short tempered. The end of head lines is bent a little downward towards the mount of Moon, that will reduce this short temperament and make him mild a little but not much.

2. He is careful about money and has a mind for saving money. 50% correct

 Explanation: Head line is the key to understand this matter. Left head line gives the hint that he is inherently emotional and imaginative, unrealistic about money. He would buy anything that he liked. Right head line is a little bent upward, giving the hint that now he is restrained in spending money and he now nurtures a tendency towards saving. The ultimate result? He is not 100% saver!

3. He was very imaginative in nature in his early age, but now the pressing conditions have made him realistic. 100% correct

Explanation: This prediction also lies on the above explanation. As his two head lines are not same, that means his inherent poetic tendencies have not been flourished and obstructed most probably due to some pressing conditions, that made him to think about the reality rather than fantasy.

4. He had to suffer from serious financial crisis in his early school age (he is in college now). (100% wrong!)

This time I was totally wrong. He told me that he had not suffered any serious financial crisis. I analyzed his palm again trying to understand what my fault could be. I realized that though there were pressing conditions, but it was not so severe due to favorable mounts on his palm. You should see that all his mounts are neat and clean without any cross or net that impart good favor upon him and prevented him from any severe problem. Surely this favor will be with him throughout the rest of his life. So dont forget about mounts! 

5. He has a keen interest in knowing things especially towards mysteries. (100% correct)

Why I told it? Because there was a sign of solomon ring under his index finger. It also indicates that the person will be an scholar in various fields, and have a deep knowledge on various subjects.

6. He is broad minded, doesn't misunderstand others. (100% correct)

You will easily notice that his heart line on both hands is deep and ended between index and middle finger. You know, the more the heart line extends towards index finger, the more he becomes broad minded and he can be very reliable friend.

7. He has been trying to earn money since his early age, though the rewards are little. (100% correct)

The logic behind this prediction lies on the fate line. You can see a weak fate line originating from the mount of moon. This type of fate line indicates that the person tried to earn or establish something. The deeper the fate line at that time, the more efficacious the efforts could be.

My experience: Palmistry Prediction on grandpa's death

About ten years ago, I used to spend my leisure time reading palmistry books. Wherever I went, I took a book of palmistry as my company. Whenever I got a chance, I looked at the hands (especially at the palms) of the people and tried to figure out what their lines meant to be.

One day, I went to visit my old grandpa, who was lying on a bed. He broke his thigh bone from falling down on the slippy bathroom floor and couldn't sit or stand alone. The old bone was badly fragmented and this injury took him nearly to death. Everyone said to me in private that grandpa would die very soon. So I took his palm and measured his life line. It was a long and deep line, the end of which was cut by another short line. But there was a marshal line along the side of life line which certainly told me that grandpa would survive this time. Though all the people were sure that he was going to die, I proclaimed there that grandpa wouldn't die soon. He should live a couple of years more. My uncle and aunt didn't believe me, others too. But my prediction became right. Grandpa survived at that time and lived three more years though his wound never healed fully. 

This incident shows me that if the analysis of palm lines is correct, then the result or prediction should also be correct. It still inspires me to carry on my practice on palmistry.

A palm reading for Career and life

Mr. Guruprasad asked some questions through mail. Here I am discussing some of his questions from palmistry point of view. I hope all palmistry learners (me too!) will get some insight from his hand.

We see that his hand is not square type (realistic nature) but philosophic, so more or less he has a tendency to think like a philosopher. It will be hard for him to accept the reality, and often he will get angry and it will be hard to control his anger, because his head line is bent upward. In fact he should watch his emotions before it becomes a problem.

His financial success will mostly depend on others, so he should keep good communication  with others all time and we should ask him to kindly control the anger. Surely that will bring good fortune. As there is a business line, deep and clear, I recommend him to start a business now, along with his private job, though it will be tough to maintain job and business both at the same time, but there is no alternative to this way.

Palm shapes indicate your inherent tendencies

Palm shape is very important in palm reading. Very often I happen to read palms. It's like a never ending learning. The more I practice, the more I discover that I know nothing!

I often said that head line is the most important thing to know someone's attitude and tendencies. But true to say that palm shape is the main thing that one should look at to know the person's inherent tendencies. For example, if someone has a square hand so surely

he is realistic, 

he will never want to sit idly, 

rather he will want to do something practical, 

he spends money carefully,

he doesn't care much about mental emotions,

the longer his head line, the longer he will be capable of developing his career. 

And in this case his head line should be a straight line that matches this character. But if it bends downwards, as it happens often, then it makes the person to work hard, his inherent qualities are still dominant but his emotional qualities like imagination, getting hurt with little words etc. are magnified and he becomes more sensitive. That's why it is important to see the shape of the palm at first.

Stars are usually very influential signs on hand. It is a very good fortune to have star signs on the palm. It appears in different forms in different hands. The shapes of the stars are shown in the picture. They can appear in different places on the hand and hence, impart different results, that may be good or bad depending on the place.The learner must bear it in mind that the interpretation of this sign largely depends on other principal lines.

1. If star sign is on the Venus mount, the person will have too much desire to have some company of opposite sex. They have strong passion for love and sex. 4. Star sign on Saturn mount, as Cheiro says, is to be regarded as the dreadful sign.The person bearing this sign on hand is the plaything of destiny. Such a man's life will end in terrible disaster but one which will cause his name to be on everyone's lips. However he will be successful through meditation, asceticism, black arts, magic etc. though the ending will surely be a tragedy. They are very much prone to be a victim of fatal accident. This possibility becomes deadly when star sign touches the fate line.

They are strongly advised to lead an ascetic life or a life of monkhood. If they lead the life in such a way, the evil effects shall not be able to touch them much.

5. Star on sun mount is a very promising sign for life. It gives riches and glory, but most probably a public life. The person becomes a talented one in the field of art, literature, music and movies etc. and therefore becomes famous and rich in life. Whatever, the person won't get peace in life, no matter how high they climb on.

6. Star on Mercury mount gives the person wisdom for judging the inner matters and employing this unique quality, the person gets unusual success in business and commerce, science or in tactics, in diplomatic missions, or great eloquence.

7. Star on secondary mars indicates success through courageous acts and hard labor. He will surely acquire huge land property.

8. Star on Moon indicates a success through creativity and imagination along with huge income. It promises a celebrity life. However if the head line is very faint or very bent towards moon and star sign remains at the bottom of the mount, an unnatural imagination will veil his mind and most probably he is leaning forward  to a lunatic state.  This sign on this part is also an indication of suicide. Apart from drowning oneself, it indicates other ways of suicide.

An observation on five fingers on a person's hand: Key to understand a person's attitude

We use our hands and fingers in almost all kinds of work. But do you know that this very familiar hands represent the basic signs of a person's character and attitude?

In our daily life, we meet lots of people. Sometimes situation arises where right person is required to control the situation, or there might be some financial matters for which you wish you could know on which person to rely, or simply you wish to know if the person you met is telling the truth. Well, really I think, in this case, palmistry or hand analysis is a great tool for a person who wishes to know the character or attitude of other persons.

Most often I see that people have fingers look short and stumpy. Usually it indicates lack of true intellectuality. They are not suitable in works requiring intelligence and higher mentality- no matter how much they might represent their superiority. Also these fingers indicate that the person has not inherited noble intellectual line of ancestors. However I myself have these short fingers though they are not stumpy rather thin, and artistic, meaning that I am more interested in arts, music, literature, movies etc. I would love to be an intellectual person but this sign tells me that I can't afford such mind!

The fingers of equal length with palm represent a more cultured person. He has inherited a noble intellectual line of ancestors and he is dependable in works requiring intelligence and higher mentality.

The longer and thin fingers on the palm represent a person who is very much idealistic. He is not suitable to run the practical world. He is just not right in managing a work group or business that requires practicality. But he is very suitable in his own mental work- like research, science, philosophy, literature and educational work where it requires higher qualities of mind. If the finger joints are large and much prominent, then he will be more suitable in philosophical work and in concentration of mind. He can be a master of meditation! But if the finger joints are smooth, then he will be visionary and artistic in nature. He would be suited in artistic work like art, drawing, painting, making designs and models,  but could not be trusted anything requiring details, in science and research and he will be utterly useless in a position where discipline or control of others is required.

Let us consider the fingers separately. The index finger represents leadership and ambition. If it is unusually long and almost equal to the middle finger, all these tendencies are extremely amplified within the person’s character. This person can be safely entrusted for control of a group of people. But if this finger is long and crooked, then surely he has a crooked ambition and he will do anything, I mean anything to fulfill his desire.

The middle finger is the longest one in most of the hands. If it is straight, the person can be safely entrusted for giving any task to do, even for any financial matter, you can rely on him truly, because he is very serious in his responsibilities. But a crooked middle finger represents a very crooked fate. In palmistry books, it has been said that they become the innocent victim of the circumstances, over which they have no control.

The ring finger represents glory, popularity, publicity, name and fame and so on. If this finger is extraordinarily long, almost equal to the middle finger, then the desire for glory and popularity is intensified within a person. Though it is usual in the hand of celebrities, but it is undesirable in the hands of your personal assistant or a family lawyer. If this finger is crooked, then all his tendency of showing himself will be amplified, the spending of money will be noticed more clearly and a tendency in gambling will be noticed very easily. That’s why he should not be trusted to hold a position in handling money.

The little finger represents control on language and wit. If this finger is straight and long, the person will be very adept in using language and words cunningly. The gift of eloquence and flow of language is valuable for orators and public persons, but not desirable for a wife whose husband is fond of sleep.

The shorter this little finger, the more timid and reserved they are in the presence of strangers. Such persons find great difficulty in expressing what they want to say, but they can write better and they should practice writing rather than speaking. A short and crooked little finger intensifies these tendencies more accurately.

If this little finger is crooked but long, the person will use his eloquence in a crooked way. They will make up any fairy tale for their purpose and supposed to be a born liar.

The index finger and ring finger should be equal, that will be the best sign, representing a balanced mind.

The lines originating from the mount of Venus, if goes toward the life line or cuts through it, then it is known as line of Venus. It has a robust influence on human life. See the following points.

1. A deep line originating from thumb: A grievous situation. 

2. Small and light venus lines: sign of troubles.

3. Venus line touches the fate line: A sign of danger.
4. Net on Venus lines: troubles from secret love.

Venus line cuts the fate line: anxieties for close persons

If venus line cuts the life line and reaches at the fate line or crosses it, then it is a sign of mournful situation or mental shock due to troubles of his wife, son/daughter, or lover.

Net on mount of venus

Small venus lines represent loves. Now, this love can be unexposed and secretly nurtured within the person's mind, or it may be actual romantic relationship. We can easily find this out by dint of head line. 

If the head line is bending towards moon mount, it makes the person imaginative. Along with it, if the head line and life line start together, then it makes the person timid in expressing his love. Along with it, if Jupiter mount is higher, often a rectangle in it, then surely it will make him pious and religiously conservative, so that he will not dare to be exposed in being engaged in a romantic relationship. Otherwise, the venus lines truly represent actual intimate relationships. 

When there are lines on venus mount crisscrossing each other to form a net, then there will be troubles and worries from love, secret love and adultery. It most often indicates that the person is used to masturbate! 

To mitigate the bad effect of venus lines, there should be good jupiter mount and a marshal line.

Venus line cuts the life line: a sign of mournful situation

1. If a deep line originating from thumb or the mount of Venus cuts through life line, it means and almost surely means a deep grief due to a death of parents, relative or any close friend at that age of life line. The grievous situation may arise in other ways too, for example a betrayal from your beloved one.

2. If the line of Venus doesn't touch the life line, a gap exists between them, it indicates love, anxiety, ill health, worries etc. at that age of life line. Remember, the line should be deep, comparatively deeper and bolder than other venus lines.

Small and light lines from venus bring troubles

If small and light venus lines cut through the life line, they indicate a sign of troubles, illness, grief or mental shock at different ages indicated by the life line.

Your palm looks square shaped, that is it is equal or nearly equal in length across and down of the palm. But to be sure, you should measure it by yourself with a scale.

I have put another picture so that you can compare your hand easily by yourself. If you look at the pictures, you will notice that your hand is much squarer than this one. So surely you will be more practical in thoughts and plans than this person. 2. What does my career hold? Will I be successful? Is is possible to tell when? What will I be successful in? Would I be successful in business?

Q1 : when my income will be steady?

Q2: where the traveling line has indicated?

Q4 in your predictions you tell me that there is no higher level education what is it mean? Is you mean, that I can not go for  study to aborad?
I have no right to discourage you, but see, higher education requires academically strong mind, capability of grasping the theories and analyzing it, presenting it and employing them to solve various theoretical and practical problems, that  requires a long and deep as well as straight head line, but you see, you have a head line with islands, crosses, it bent downwards, making you very imaginative and so lack of concentration on your study, moreover, heart line and head line formed into a single line, making you very sensitive to emotional matters and most of the time you will give preference to what your heart says, not what reality or logic says, that's why I told you higher study is probably not possible.
